Eugenia Grammenou is an interdisciplinary artist working on various media ranging from performance , installation, video performance , drawing and writing. She studied visual arts at the Academy of Fine Arts AUTh in Thessaloniki. She completed the Masters Degree Course at the Cultural Management MSc HOU, specializing in the social role of the museum.
She is Phd candidate at the School of Drama Faculty of Fine Arts at the Aristotle University , Greece.
Her work has been presented in solo and many group exhibitions and festivals in Greece and abroad.
Issues such as human nature and inner contradictions, depictions of human condition, identity, gender, time, personal and common memory, construction and de/construction of fe/male, concern her and she explores them through , video, installation, performance, drawings and writing.
